Many thanks for choosing Tudor Court Hotel. We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
These Booking Terms apply to Tudor Court Hotel, our officers, employees and agents (‘We’/’Us’/’Our’) and the person or legal entity making the Booking or to whom We supply services in respect of the booking (‘You/Your’). These booking terms are governed by English law and apply to all Bookings except where We agree in writing other terms. By making a booking You are deemed to accept these Booking terms. Please note bookings made on different websites may be booked with different conditions.
Bookings are made and a contract between You and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You. We will accept a reservation when We have confirmed your reservation and charged/received a deposit payment of one night’s stay. The balance will be paid by You to Us on check-in.
You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a booking (Booking may be accepted on behalf of teenagers in certain circumstances providing they are accompanied by an adult). Bookings must be paid by using an acceptable and valid credit or debit card. Please contact Us for alternative means of payment.
All credit card transaction must be made by the cardholder or with the cardholder’s permission (in the latter case a signed fax or letter from the card holder authorising the transaction as required).
Credit card transactions with Visa or Mastercard issued outside the UK will be made in Pounds sterling.
Cancellations must be made 72 hours before the stated arrival date. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. To make a cancellation, you must write to us giving your name and check-in date, booking reference or confirmation number (if applicable) and have details of your credit or debit card available. For cancellations made giving 72 hours notice, only the first night’s fee is kept.
No refund will be given for any Cancellations made giving less than 72 hours notice or for any no-shows.
The price of the accommodation includes the use of the following:
Electricity, linen, towels, cleaning, hot water, central heating.
Rates are per room per night and include English Breakfast, Service and VAT (Value Added Tax) at the current rate.
Rates are per room per night. If You have selected supplements they will be added to the total price of the Booking. Rates do include other costs you may choose to incur during Your stay (unless otherwise stated).
Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown.
Should You change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change. All rates are subject to change.
In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver Your requested accommodation, You will be offered alternate accommodation.
Arrival and departure
Check-in time is at 12pm. Check-out time: 10 am. We can keep reasonable amounts of luggage for You before check in and after check out.
To amend a booking will result in a GBP 10.00 charge per room, may only be made at least 72 hours in advance and is subject to availability.
Conditions of Stay
We have some standard rules that are designed to ensure that we comply with regulations relating to matters such as fire, health and safety, and to enhance the comfort and wellbeing of our guests. If You would like to check our conditions of stay please contact us. We reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests and or threatening abusive to members of staff.
Sorry, We do not allow pets in the hotel.
Non Smoking Premises
Tudor Court Hotel is a non-smoking building. It is against the law to smoke in the premises and offenders could be reported to the relevant authorities. If there is evidence of smoking in the guest rooms, we reserve the right to charge a fee equivalent to one night’s stay so that the room may be cleaned and aired before the next guests.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages and/or damages, which You cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge your credit card for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge for GBP 50.00 if you did not report this.
Other than for death or personal injury cause by Our negligence or misrepresentation, Our total liability to You is limited to the price of the Booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond Our reasonable control. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to Us or to Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.
We may process the information You provide to Us for the purposes notified by Us to the Information Commissioner. By making a Booking, You consent to the processing of information.
This website does not automatically store of capture personal information. But merely logs your IP address, which automatically recognised by the web server.
We do not use ‘cookies’ for collecting user information. This means that we do not leave text files on your computer so that we can keep notes on you.
We do not pass any personal information you have given us to any other site. The system will record your email address, and other information if volunteered to us by you. This will be treated as proprietary and confidential. It may be used to respond to your query or to notify you about updates about Tudor Court Hotel.
Guests are not permitted to have visitors in their rooms. If evidence is found of unauthorised persons staying in guests’ rooms, management have the right to charge an additional fee and or in the case where guests invite visitors which exceed the total capacity of the room, guests will be asked to pay the above fee and may be requested to leave.
If the cardholder is different from the guest and is not present at the time of check in, management have the right to request the guest/s to pay for the booking costs via their own credit card and a refund will be given to the cardholder (please note (due to the banking system) refunded monies may take up to seven working days to appear in the cardholder’s account). A fee of 1% of the total refunded value will be charged (as a refund transaction fee) to the cardholder.
Where it is not possible for the cardholder to be present at the time of check in and the guest is not able to pay themselves, additional security checks will be required. This in the form of 1) a signed (by the cardholder) letter authorising Tudor Court Hotel to charge for the full value of the guest’s reservation costs and 2) a photocopy (legible – please adjust the printing tone on a light setting) of the front and reverse of the credit card. Without this the reservation may be cancelled and/or the guests not permitted to stay.
The management reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or rates at short notice.
