The TUDOR COURT HOTEL, London

TESTIMONIALS AND GUEST REVIEWS
Very good value for money, you even get a cooked breakfast, which was nice. Our only complaint was the reliability of the plumbing in the toilet which sometimes took forever to fill up with water leaving an annoying trickling sound that seemed to go on for ever. But on the whole, the bed's were comfy, the rooms were warm and clean and the kitchen staff helpful and polite, although reception staff looked like they were working at an undertakers office. The Hotel was what we expected for that price. 1. The staff was really helpful and kind, except for the man which attended us on the first day (for the check in). 2. The noise of the tube passing all the day is the only weakness of the place. JS - via Hostels.com

Very near to Paddington rail station and underground, which makes it's location/price ratio perfect. A few pubs and restorants are just a few meters away. Also near to Hayde park. A good choice! DR - via Hostel World

Small but a VERY nice little hotel with an excellent location! Will come back next year :o) CF - via Hostel World

Perfect location, great breakfast and very clean. We were on the top floor with the big bathroom so that was nice. It would have been nice to have a lift in the building as it\'s difficult to clime 80 steps up a narrow stairwell with heavy luggage. I wouldnt let that stop me from staying there again. I definately got my moneys worth and would recommend it! EB - via Hostel World

"Ideal: Stayed at Tudor Court five times now. After reading some of the other reviews I have always found the hotel to be clean. The staff friendly and ideally situated close to Paddington Underground and train station this presents the noise from the underground but you cant have it all and its hardly the hotels fault. Will continue to use the hotel in future when I am in London!"

"Let's face it -London is EXPENSIVE, but if you just want a place to rest your head, for the money, you really can't go wrong here. My room was small and clean, and I got a work out from the steps, and a great breakfast included. For a solo traveler on a budget, the hotel was perfect for my needs and I'll definitely be back!"

"Last month my sister and I spent a weekend in London. We chose Tudor Court Hotel to have a place to sleep after doing a lot of sight seeing. ;) We still are very content with our choice. The staff is very, very nice and helpful. You can ask anything and will be helped. Paddington station, from where you can take different tube lines to arrive whereever you want, is in a two-minute-walk just round the corner. There you can also take Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect to arrive back at the airport when your trip is over, which is very comfortable especially when your plain leaves early in the morning. It takes just 15-25 minutes. Tudor Court Hotel is at Norfolk Square which is a very nice area in London. There you can find a number of pubs and small restaurants and it is a short walk to Hyde Park. All in all I would say, that we chose the right hotel and would choose it again and again, when we decide to visit this beautiful town again."

"Tudor Court Hotel is a old-fashioned London B&B which was excellent value for money. The beds were comfortable and clean, there was space to put your cases, good mirrors for getting ready in the morning, a TV, central heating and a tiny but spotlessly clean en-suite. The staff were terrific, especially the ladies who cooked the breakfasts - which were included in the price. The location is excellent, tube around the corner and you can stroll down to Hyde Park. We stayed there twice and would again next time we're in London and just need a place to sleep and shower."
